Ana María Romero de Campero
Ana María Romero de Campero (29 June 1941 - 26 October 2010[1]) was a Bolivian journalist, writer, activist and influential public figure in her country. She was President of the Senate at the time of her death. From 1998-2003, she served as Defensora del Pueblo (public defender).[2]
